First want to thank those before me that did this and got me on the band wagon. Limeybastard for explaining how it easy it is/was to get the back cover off. My first go round didn't fair to well as my twin daughters were playing and running through the garage and knocked over my almost done covers into my sandy floor.
Anyway, I wet sanded the covers and was able to salvage a lot of the work. Sprayed on 3 more coats and then 3 coats of clear. These things look incredible and I can't wait until tomorrow to put them back on.
I drove around for the morning with the sandy ones on and was still impressed at how this changed the look of the truck once again.

I will post the new painted ones when the sun is out and I can get a nice shot...

Haven't done this yet , key word yet !
I seen Lymeybastard's post when he did his ( I think it was him " white") I was sold then and now seeing yours I know I've gotta do this !
Only thing I'm afraid of is scratching them when I use my Snap on tow mirrors ...

Hmm. More pics? Straight on side shot and straight on front shot?

I've got the same color red and just so happen to have a can of paint laying around.

Looks really nice, how did you separate the part you painted from the arm?

I would imagine a lot of highway driving what **** them up. That's the only thing keeping me from doing this.

Color match spray can. Got them from a local spot for $22 per can. I had ordered some from online and they were perfect in color but they take 2 weeks to get.
