So I'm getting a little ambitious with the paint and plasti dip here lately and my grand,Pam has a really stead hand when painting and she is really good at it. So I'm wondering how to maybe paint my stockers and the difficulty level of it. I beleive I should of just asked JJ but oh well

Damn shouldn't be to hard, big thing is getting them apart and putting them back together. Just regular high heat paint would work right?

Shouldn't even need high heat paint.

That's good, so pretty much heat it up and pop off the cover, clean it and paint it the clear, heat it up again after slide the lense back on with silicone and heat it up then ban, painted headlights?

I honestly don't have a preferred clear. I use whatever the brand of the paint I'm using is. I usually go with rust oleum for paint. Seems to be the best from what I've found. I like it at least. Both the paint and clear.

idk if 2000 grit will get rid of the chrome. might have to get something alittle rougher then work it back to 2000 grit.

2000? red (or gray) scotchbrite would be better. (or 400)

Clear? If you can find it, 2K Spray Max clear is the ****.

See?

Best primer? SEM *** Adhesion Promoter. Best paint? Get a can mixed for you at a local paint store. Do it right the first time! Don't cheap out on your paint..........

Too many people say "I can paint my heads for 10 bucks". Sure you can, lets see what it looks like in a year though.

Scuffing the chrome? Why bother.

Soak it in bleach. The chrome will disappear leaving clean (sanitary) plastic. :)
