hmm i might actually do the bleach then, do i need to let it soak in it or should i just run it over with it?

I believe you soak it. But not for too long. Like 10 minutes I believe. Too long will ruin it. I'll let someone else confirm.

I'm old school, I just don't like the idea of using a chemical if I don't need to.

On the paint, I get all of mine at a local paint store. They happened to have the stuff (the spraymax clear). They also mix the paint there. Mix whatever you want and stick it in a spray can.

hmm yea idk about the bleach thing, ive always sanded stuff down so idk. and jj for leaning up the lense what grit sand paper do you recommend, ima also pick up some meguires compuound for it

I don't. once the lens starts to go..............move on. You CAN sand it down and reclear it, or use a special protectant on it, but the crap at vatozone won't cut it.

If you want a new set, I just got 5 sets in for the 02-05s!

I stick to using the red and gray scotch pads instead of sandpaper since it keeps it a little bit cleaner

pretty much a dish cleaning pad, like a sos pad pretty much

Pretty much but 3m makes them actually for sanding lol
I know people who do just use the dish pads haha
