Looking for some direction to hopefully save me some time before I pull everything apart.

2005 RAM 1500 SLT 2WD

Parking brake falls to the floor without any resistance. It even falls when driving if you hit a bump.

I will be looking at the parking brake drum and pads regardless since the truck has 97,000 miles but was thinking the spring is disconnected or cable is broken.

Start from the front and work your way back, which ironically is also simplest to less so.
