The parking light warning chime comes on every time I press the brake pedal, when the headlights are in auto or manual on mode.

All the lights are working fine and there are no modifications of any sort. I am not looking for any LED upgrades or anything at all, just want to fix or turn off the alarms/detection.

I bought the alpha obd bluetooth dongle and the app, hoping to find some feature to just turn off the bulb detection altogether, but haven't found that in the menus.

Any advise ?

Any electrical fix or alpha obd work around would be very welcome. This is some very annoying chime/alarm.

Thank you so much in advance.

When you hit the brake, the parking light is most likely turning off due to a bad socket. I had the same issue, replaced the bulb socket and the problem went away.
