Edit: this was more just a frustration post. and maybe see if anyone has solved this for sure. I don't use the feature but can't continue like this and don't want to chase parts that won't fix it.

2019 1500 Classic Warlock. Have had the truck since new and honestly the parksense has hardly ever worked. had it fixed by the dealer once years ago but then more issues caused me to just turn it off at the dash button. (wasn't just 'cleaning' them). It has been off for more than a year with no issues.

last week I drove the truck as normal, no issues. parked for a bit and when I started it back up I started getting both the 'parksense off' and 'parksense needs service' errors on the screen over and over.

It would go away at higher speeds but when slowing down or stopping it would send the messages over and over.

because it is 'off' and I can't turn it back on, I cannot check individual sensors. but I did clean them all, take them each out make sure pins and connections were good. checked for obvious wiring issues. both the outer ones had lots of crap packed into them. cleaned everything up and put it all back together. no difference.

unplugged the rear harness all together and the messages stopped - UNTIL I get over 45kph and then it will bing over and over (and over).... finally after about 15 min it will stop and I can drive in peace. but then it repeats this cycle next time I start the truck.

dealer says they can't (won't) turn it off completely. I don't use it, don't want it. I don't really want to chase down and replace sensors or the wiring (I see posts where this hasn't fixed the issue anyway).

just frustrated. I just want the 'bing' to stop.

If pushing the button turns it off, then that shows the controller is acting correctly, as far as that is concerned. I would almost wager there is a wiring issue to the sensors (bad wire or connection along the way) or a sensor kaput. Mine yells at me when the tailgate is down while in reverse, but I expect that to be correct.

Fuse F95 is for the Park Sense and review camera. Pull fuse and see if it stops. That should give you a place to start.

Then look at the electrical diagrams to see what controls it. Probably the BCM.

AlfaOBD shows "Parktronics: enabled" in my truck. I don't have auto park, so that maybe the ParkSense. Perhaps that can be "disabled" to shut it off.

thanks yes the dash button did shut it off long ago but now it wont do anything as there is a fault somewhere. the rear harness isnt even attached anymore and still get alerts, but instead of at low speed it is at higher speed (but eventually shuts up at least). do you need a pw for alfaOBD? i cant use my scanner for much of anything on this truck because of the security module
