I’m having issues with my electric cooling fan relay harness. I have been getting the P0481 code since July. I I hooked the relay located behind the grill and in front of the rad connected with the horns. This was rusted a toasted. I pulled it apart and the relay was junk. I had hoped that the relay was these issue and the wiring end where the relay connects to was still working. Nope, new relay that I waited 3 weeks for didn’t work. So now I’m guess the harness connector itself is toast. I tried cleaning it out as there was green junk inside but I believe it’s gone. Is there a part number to this harness or connector end? Not sure if just swapping to a V6 fan with new wiring would be best and get rid of the clutch fan? anyways the truck doesn’t throw the code often and hasn’t overheated. I may contact the scrap yard and see what they have to offer. Can any new relay connector be swapped out for the end that’s not good?
Forgot to mention I checked fuses as well, they good.

Thanks for any help.

Sorry that’s not it lol. It’s a 60 Amp 4 pin relay that connects to it. I may just buy an aftermarket heavy duty 60amp 4 pin relay and switch it out and also install in a different location. I have no idea why they put this relay right where the elements gets at it. Thanks for the link!

Well I just searched
for a 60 amp 4 pin relay connector and found one I can switch out. No big deal and thought I’d close this thread! Thanks @RedSRT4Me
