Thanks man. I'm kind of in shock! Everything was done and ready except the signature. Had she phoned five minutes later, I would have been up **** creek without a paddle and in that truck.

But, you could have pulled a yacht and launched it in said creek.

Yeah- silver lining. You're right. Just really glad it happened now instead of 6 months from now.

Everything happens for a reason; glad it worked out in your favor.
It's nice that you have some warning and can sit down together and work through what your next steps will be. I'm not diminishing what may take place with her job, but warning is better than nothing.
Hope she's due for a FAT severance pkg!:)

I hear you brother. It's bitter-sweet for me. I really love my 1500, and it serves us very well. The 2500 would have set us up for the future plans... BUT... with the uncertainty she is facing, that makes no sense at all. She hasn't even found out for sure, all she got (as well as all the other girls in her office) is a letter stating their positions are being reviewed by the HR and projections team and they had to fill in a questionaire. There had been rumblings around before that too. She is really confident that nothing will happen. I, on the otherhand, am not willing to take that chance. Not yet.

No one can Blame you for that. It's logical!
