Just picked up a new 1500 Classic last week and the wheels all have a little yellow sticker on them that says "Peel Here". So, I peeled one off and underneat the sticker is a dark rough patch that looks like the aluminum wheel didn't get painted underneath the sticker. The dark rough patch is not sticky like it is adhesive residue from the sticker.

Anyone know what the "Peel Here" stickers are for and what you are supposed to do with the ugly spot underneath them?

Is this something dealer prep should have handled?

I would be calling dealership Receptionist & ask for The guy in charge of new vehicle preparation. At my dealer, it is a 5 star dealership & the crew that does the new vehicle preparation are not dealership employees.
They are a Independent contract company, they also work for other dealerships & brands. They don't work normal days or hours

My fault. I didn't look closely enough. I looked at the stuff underneath the stickers last night and it was definitely adhesive residue. A little Goo Gone took it right off.

So embarrasing. :uhoh2:
