Anybody have experience with this? 2019 1500 Classic. There is a bubble under this lip on back of cab that is all the way across apparently caused during dipping process in plant. This is a paint defect possible air pocket formed during dipping. Truck has 68k miles now. Any possible way warranty will cover this.

That's a question you should probably bring up with your local dealer. Your truck is basically 7 years old now,so i doubt they'll cover it under warrenty anymore, but it's worth bringing up with your dealer.

My 2019 Classic which is True Blue (darker than yours). Two weeks ago the back bumper was flaking off. It is the factory bumper and still has the clear plastic guards on the front edge. Today large areas off paint came off the roof in a touch free car wash. I bought it two years ago with 27k miles. Has 50k now. Took it to the dealer where I got it, the body shop said the roof had been repainted with a heavy layer of paint. The chips are very thick. Want $2500 to strip and repaint the entire roof. A local shop gave an estimate of $1600. Going to paint the spots with rustoleum on recommendation of shop 2 till they can do it. IF I bother.

The longest paint/finish warranty I'm aware of in the "lesser" market. i.e. not Rolls Royce ;). is 5 years or 50K miles.

I think you would be hard pressed to get a paint issue taken care of if it was even a year old with low miles. I dont think you have a chance in h3ll getting the dealer to do something about it. Worth a try though i guess!
