We had a Great first half of 2010, un defeated.

Then we started to experiment. Changed tires to 35" Baja Claws, that did not work too good. We normally run 31" tall 20's weighing over 100#'s per tire. These 35's on Alum 17" rims come in at ~90#'s. but the bulk of the mass is further from the center, and the extra ~ 4" or so hurt the gear ratio. bad move. We used these tires on two events, lost.

Put back on the original type of tire.

Then the damn truck decided it would have issues.

One event we blew the Trans, I keep spares and I have a Tranny sponcer that fixes them. We blow AVG ~ 3 a year.

Two Events, the truck went into "LIMP" mode. As soon as my Driver would go WOT, ~2 seconds later the engine would go into limp mode, no power, no throttle. It's ONLY ever gone into limp mode during an actual race. 3 Times in total, causing us to loose 2 events. right after each Limp mode issue, I would take it to the test track, and do 3~7 runs, never happens on test runs, ONLY happened during an actual race! I think I found and fixed that issue though.

We would do the "Fun" runs and beat the trucks that placed, so we wore still faster.

A new truck came to play recently, he is faster. we ran him, he beat us :( . Not much I can do about that, I'm not putting too much more into the HEMI.

Even with the poor ending of the race season, we are still the point leader for our class!

We are building a new monster, 650+HP 440 Big Block (520ci) for a 78' PowerWagon (AKA WAR WAGON). This truck should be the last word in our class, and show everyone MOPAR power.
