What are some performance options for the 2019 RAM 2500 Cummins 6.7 Diesel? I pull a 9500 lb camper trailer occasionally. Just want to know a few options to consider.

What sort of goals do you have? More Power? Better towing gears?

The days of the full delete packages and shops that did that work is pretty much a thing of the past. My 2017 got the full treatment and it was a real beast when the tuner, custom tune, intake & exhaust work was done.

However, firms like Diesel Power Products have developed performance options such as tuners, intakes, exhaust, etc... kits that can be installed and still be legal from an emissions standpoint.

So check them out along with Banks, Motor Ops, & PPEI. Also, take a look at DieselIQ.com for some good info on what can be done within the stock OEM package.

Good luck with your mods.

First post...welcome!

Firstly, I swear I'm not being an a-hole here...just trying to help...cuz you will get flamed for this...it's Cummins, not Cumm-ings. There is a very important difference between the two. ;)

Secondly, as Maddog points out, there are some good tuner options out there, both with and without having to mess with your intake, exhaust, fuel system, etc. It really depends on how deep you can and want to get into this stuff. Warning...it's gonna cost ya, so be prepared. A 100% stock 6.7L unit is more than capable of towing 9500lbs so the gains will really depend on your wallet. My advice would honestly be to start reading the 6.7L-specific performance forums...there is so much to learn.

good luck!

You don't need any performance upgrades to pull that trailer.

As for tuning and/or deleting the truck make note that the EPA has been cracking down on tuners and any company offering parts to do away with the emissions systems. A lot of tuners have gone underground, you might have to look north of the border.
