Which Bluetooth obdii adapter are you using? Which type of phone and which app? Do you like it?

Looking to do the same thing since it is kind of a pain to hook up my DS i2 to view the pids.

I use an elm327 Bluetooth linked to my android galaxy s8. And torque pro. Great app.

As far as custom tunes go you have two choices.
Hemi Fever
Jay Grenne

Don’t ask wich one is better, it’s like comparing Coke and Pepsi.
More performance who is a vendor on here sells tuners with custom tunes as a package, you can email/IM or even call them. They also provide many other aftermarket parts for you’re truck.

diablo or HP tuners are the two to use . i have diablo but wont be using them ever again. they're customer service leaves alot to be desired and they have quite a few issues with they're tuners. hp is a little more expensive but i think they are better jay greene tunes with both of those platforms hemifever does not tune with HP that i know of. on the diablo side the i3 is a basic tuner and cheaper the trinity has more bells and whistles and is more expensive both will do custom tunes. matt (moes) has fast shipping and good prices but you dont have to buy the tuning package he sells them tuner pcm combo only

they come with some pre set tunes but they are disappointing a custom tune from who ever you chose will be night and day different from the pre set tunes.

My bad, the post I was referring to with the track times was posted by a vendor on here of a customer. So you can take it for what it's worth. Might be the truth or an attempt to sell more units. Here it is:


Here is a Gen 2 Raptor owner's 0-60 results for those that think it just acts like you are pushing your foot down more

"Today I tested the PC on and off.

Same road, i just mashed the pedal with PC off and sport +4, i was only person in vehicle nothing in bed.

Initial 0-60 was 6.2 sec.
PC post 0-60 was 5.4 sec

Did it two more times with similar results.

Run 2:

Initial 0-60 was 6.3 sec.
PC post 0-60 was 5.6 sec

Run 3:

Initial 0-60 was 6.1 sec.
PC post 0-60 was 5.3 sec

To the OP... there are several threads on here as to the performance of this mod. The one I pulled this information from, is here on page 2 of the "engine & performance" section of the forum. It is a review for the PC. Within it is 86 pages & 855 posts of people who love this mod. After reading through this you should be able to make an educated decision of what is best for your needs now. No mature members on here will make fun of you, or call you names on whatever decision you make.
A tune & headers will definitely give you more hp & torque but will cost 2-3 times as much as PC. From my experience & information from others, there is little to no mpg gains from any of the mods available for the 5.7 or 6.4 Hemi. Not sure if they can't actually do this, or if it is from the user loving the mod so much he or she can't keep their foot out of it.

A custom tune or any kind of tune for that matter is great. Of course if cost is an issue and your truck is a 2015 or newer your looking at probably $1000 to get started since you have to have the tuner and an unlocked PCM. I paid $150 for my PC on eBay used. I've ran it for approx. 2K miles and I haven't had any issues. I feel that dropping a grand for 20 extra horsepower is a total waste of money because no matter what you do to your truck to make it faster there's always going to be someone faster. In the end its your money and what you do with it is your business and it's not my place or anyone else' to talk **** about it.

The 15+ can be tuned now for less than a grand w/ the pcm swap through Diablo. $499 for pcm swap AND I3 & then the price of the custom tune. Much better than it used to be to pay a grand. A custom tune will drop around .7 or more in the 1/4 mile. Its a huge difference. So if you can get away w/ a pcm swap, I3 & custom tune for around $700 give or take it is more than completely worth it.

Wahr, I would just sell the Petal Commander, possibly to a forum member.

Then I'd buy a new tuner from Matt. If you buy a used tuner, it will have to be "unlocked" which will negate most of the savings of buying used.

I have a Petal Commander on my ProCharged Perf Pac V6 Mustang. It's great in that application. But with 4.10s, CAI, and Hemi Fever tune, a Petal Commander for my truck is totally unnecessary.

I didn't build it. I just bought it, so I'm not bragging. But man, when set up properly, these trucks are impressive!
