Picking up some XD Monster 2 18" Wheels, what size tires?

I'm picking up some XD Monster 2 18" wheels tomorrow, has an +18 Offset.

Thinking of running 285/75R18 Duratrac.

Will these fit without rubbing? not planning on leveling the truck or lifting it.

Anyone running this set-up roughly?

34.8” x 11.2” ... Width won’t be a problem, but 35” with no level ... Doubt it ...

I think that's a 33" tire, similar to the stock 1's on my Truck now, I think I have 275/60R20 which is roughly 33" tall?

I wouldn’t give up on 285’s ... Maybe look for 70 65 or 60 ... Somethin in that 33-1/2” range

I can find 285/65R18 in the DuraTrac, just wonder how small those will look in the wheel wells?

32.6x11.2 so 1/2” less diameter. Are you set on Duratrac?

Not set on them, I just really like the performance and look of the tire, and they are very well priced around my area.

I am however open to suggestions.

Nitto Exo and Ridge Grapplers available in 285/70 ... 33.7” ... Perfect ... Lotta great reviews on the Ridge

Alright, I’ll look into them.

They aren’t gonna poke out too much from the side of the truck, are they?

I don’t have flares on the truck, thinking of installing some eventually.

Sorry, I’m a noob when it comes to tires and trucks.

Spent my 20s behind a Camaro, was much simpler

Also, do you think the 1/2” difference between the Grapplers & Durtrac will be noticeable?

The price difference is about $200.00 in my area.

I also plan on running them in the winter / snow months, and I’ve read the Duratracs are way better in that perspective

1.1” larger overall diameter ... Definitely noticable ... Definitely worth it ... Exos and Ridges good in the snow as well ... You can check the reviews

What's the difference between a rebel and a regular 1500. You can find guys running 295 70 18s on a rebel. 34.2 inch tire. Is the rebel rim a similar offset to what your looking at. The cooper st maxx ks supposed to be a nice tire.

Checkout the Falken Wildpeak AT3W...pretty competive $$$. 55k tire. I couldn't be happier with mine. Perform great, look great.

I leaning that way on my 2500 if the coopers were available in 285 75 18 I'd probably go with them. I don't think you could go wrong either way.
