I got tired of the blinding effect of the chrome ring around the shifter, so I coated it in plasti-dip! It's almost an exact match on color and texture of the shifter base. One of my easiest mods yet!

Thanks! Just offer to go vacuum it out, then "accidentally" pull the ring off. She probably won't even know it's missing! :D

Mine was dry in about an hour but I didn't want to mess it up so I just lightly set it into place last night then snapped it into place until this morning.

LOL, nope just emergency reserve quarters! I went to Dallas a couple weeks ago and robbed my change bucket for tolls. It sucks that my Pike-Pass only works in Oklahoma...

Looks factory. I thought about something like this for the chrome on the doors. The sun always seems to catch it just right.

How do you take off that chrome thing?

I now know this blinding effect you speak of...this is a very practical mod

Lol. Don't remember why it was arranged so neatly, it's definitely not like that now... :)

Excellent! I might spray a test panel with PlastiDip.

I cannot stand the brown/tan/black. I like the tan and black, but the brown on the side of the radio is HORRID. I have been wondering where I can get a 'light texture' black paint...
