If you change tires and it peels, just take it off and respray. All it is is an afternoon project.

I know. I just sold a bunch of manuals for my dad so I got a commission coming which may be enough to get a used set cheap. We kept about 40-50 of them, but sold the lot.

I had considered plasti-dipping my nerd bars as well, but was concerned about how well they would hold up. I guess that goes on the list from warm weather as well. Looks great!

I have a few nicks but not bad. My kids don't use the pads to get in, they just step on the bar, but it still hasn't warn from that either

I'm still learning about the plasti dip. Can nicks be touched up or does the wheel, nerf bar ect. have to be stripped and resprayed?

Are there any cons to using it? Other than the matte color, which I like better anyway. I haven't heard any kind of cons yet.

I am pretty disappointed because I can't start till spring. Hell, I will use it on everything on my truck that's not black. Bumpers, grill, wheels, nerf bars, maybe even the chrome gas door I hate.

That looks great. I also would like to do all my badges. Just a little concerned about getting the masking right.
