I'm not trying to be a Richard Johnson here, but I can't understand what you're asking.
The whole point of Bluetooth is that you don't have to plug it in.

Plug in adapter to make Android Auto and Apple Carplay wireless, the stock headunit is only wired AA/CP.

We use the Motorola MA1 adapter in my wife's truck, works flawlessly, but we only have Android devices and I don't believe it works for Apple.

Ahhhhhhhh. Ok I'm on board now. Yeah, I didn't even know that was a thing. Until i had a customer pull in with a rolling smart hub of a grand Cherokee.

That being said I have no personal experience to help the OP with so I'll go back to watching for answers.

I have looked at the MA1, it seems like a decent device for Android, but with the cord essentially hidden by the center seat (I keep phone in holder in lower cup holder unit) I can't justify the expense. Plus the charging while plugged in is a bonus.

There is a CPLAY2 that works with apple, but you need a 2018+ head unit for it to work.

Bonus of the wireless adapter is that the phone can be put on a regular charger, not relying on USB charging speeds.

I guess, to be honest I have never had a problem with the charging speed while plugged in. My main issue is paying $90 for the unit versus the free data cable I already have. But some like the clean look of no wire so the cost is worth it to them.
