Power Folding Mirrors - 2019+ 1500 5th Gen DT

Because of the use of modules I dont think its as simple as supplying 12 volts to them, Damage to the mirror circuit may occur and there not cheap.

is there chrome option for power fold mirrors w/ blindspot.. looking at changing out my tow mirrors..

I recently purchased my 1st Ram, a 2023 1500 Limited w/gloss black standard power fold, blind spot, 360 cam, heated, and puddle lights. I have a deal with sales to buy the parts (tow mirrors) and they’ll pay for the install. Thanks to your sticky, I have the current part numbers for them. Their parts guy is telling me that it won’t work because of a sales code. I plan to order the parts from you, but can you provide me some guidance on what I will need to provide to the dealership to ensure for a smooth swap? Thanks.

My current black gloss mirrors already have the power folding option. The only differences I believe would be that the towing mirrors don't have the auto dimming feature.

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 with non-power fold tow mirrors. It does have puddle lights, turn signal and BSM on them. I want to upgrade to power fold tow mirrors. On the list of part that you have on this thread the door modules say they are not for my truck. I did find modules on that website that fit my truck and have power fold for the mirrors. Could you give me some help in figuring out which is the right parts for this upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Benny. I changed my trailer tow mirrors to reg power folding mirrors. I had dealer add code but I hadn't changed my door modules, so they didn't work. Will going back to dealer and having them try again now that the modules have been changed get them to function?
