I've got one heck of a problem. I bought a new power module because a shop told me the fuel relay pump was going bad causing the motor, not to turn over. That still may be the problem, when replacing it I pulled the connectors and noticed a couple of the connection points were getting hot and melting (pictures attached). Should be fuses F13 for the HVAC blower motor & F70 for the fuel pump. Does anyone have experience with these connectors that does not involve replacing the wiring harness?

I had the same issue with the fuel pump relay. I purchased a plug-in bypass to fix it.

Thanks! I've looked into the bypass option, but I'm not sure that will fix the connector issue because the power still has to run through them.

Bypass to cig lighter to diagnose the issue, it only comes on when hot like ignition. This is a known issue, most of the time it is the TIPM solder joint to that relay, most likely because there are so many amps and continual use for the fuel pump and that is why that one seams to fail the most.

I appreciate everyone's advice and responses. I ended up going to the dealer and it was an expensive fix. They said the TIPM was arching and caused the connectors to melt in certain spots (the HVAC and fuel pump). Long story short they, swapped out the TIPM and connectors and gave me a warranty. Not fun, but at least it's done!
