Anyone know of a power source I could tap into that is hot during start (2016 2500 cummins). Most everything I have found is interrupted momentarily while starting.

I have a android based monitor that I am powering and would like to keep it hot during start. Right now it's tied to the ignition but gets interrupted during start causing a reboot (it does not have a battery).

Pretty sure most things are turned off/on through the canbus so there might not be an easy power source to do what I am looking to do but thought I would ask?

Edit: Just to clarify, I want one that is only on when ignition is on, not hot all the time....

FWIW I don't think you are going to find a source not interrupted on startup. You could always hard wire your own connection from the battery to a switch you can control

You can have what you want by using the cigarette lighter
All you would need to do is change the fuse in the fuse box, from the socket it is in to one that is close to it
The fuse right now only works with the ignition
