Nick,
Do y'all have a hook up with PPE on their trans pans? Looking for a trans pan for a 2016 Ram 1500 8 speed. I think the filter is included however I don't think they include the gasket or bolts. Looking for the "brushed" finish.
Thanks,
Jay

You re-use the gasket and bolts from your OEM pan. It does come with a filter.

As mentioned above, you can reuse the hardware and gasket, and it does come with a filter! 228053010 is the one in brushed finish

We can get them but we do not have them in stock. I can see how much it would be to drop ship one to you tomorrow. If interested please message me your shipping address so I can get a quote for you.

Thanks

I wouldn't reuse either, especially those bolts, since they are torque to yield. There is a reason why ZF includes new bolts and a new gasket with each and everyone of their kits. Of course, PPE doesn't, since they want to make a bit more money.

LOL ok guy. It's a PLASTIC pan how much torque do you think you're putting on those bolts?
I'll give you a hint.
IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO STRETCH THEM AT ALL.
But you go ahead and buy new bolts.

I have been considering this pan for when I do my first fluid change. I confess to being a little miffed in regards to the lack of supplying a gasket and bolts. Seems sort of "chintzy" when considering the cost and advertised quality of the pan. I do mot like reusing gaskets or O-rings.
In regards to torque on the bolts, I believe that there are metal inserts ( sleeves ) installed in the plastic pan bolt holes. That would allow for far more torque to be applied than what would be expected for a plastic only construction. I don't have a clue how that may or may not effect the integrity of used bolts. I just wanted to point that out in regards to the pan construction.
Also, as earlier pointed out, other manufactures of non metal pans appear to supply new bolts and gasket. Perhaps there is a reason? I believe that the OEM pan and some aftermarket pans supply a new fill plug as well. Maybe the PPE does, I am not aware either way.
