your engine is fine, new harness on it, and valve cover gaskets, plus fixing whatever started the fire, and it will run again.

I gaurantee that fire, didnt hurt the motor internally.

yeah but finding a harness is gonna be hard enough let alone having to replace the windows that got shattered from the fire and all that... i think it might be easier to just get rid of it.... I dont really have the will to F%^K with it anymore... but that might change cuz i might still be Pissed about it but idk

i had a v8 under the hood and it Threw a rod so i had to go back the the factory v6... its goin to the junk yard next weekend... it weighs 6700 LBS and everything ive found said i would get around $800 if not more.... ill be sure to keep yall updated with my search for another truck!!!

damn, that sucks man. but from what i am seeing, you don't need to be looking at upgrading to more cylinders...you just need to rearrange the 6 that were in there. straight 6 cummins, drop in a 12 valve....but than again i would suggest you upgrade the rest of your drivetrain since i managed to destroy my drivetrain with my 24v...and my drive train is what dodge said would work perfect with it...lol.

There is no way on earth, that a v6 halfton, weighs even close to that.

My CUMMINS longbed, with a ton of aftmkt crap...full audio etc etc, doesnt even weigh that much.

if it weighs 5k, id be surprised..

it says on the sticker in the door jamb that it weighs (2903 KG) 6400 LBS

i think i said 6700 because i have another v6 that i pulled out of a canal and i have a few other things around here that weigh a couple hundred pounds put together
