problem using voice recognition

Mornin all,
I have a 2023 Ram 1500 Big horn and the problem I'm having is using the voice recognition to play a song I want to hear off a flash drive. When I ask for a certain song it tells me I don't have a you-tube music account. I used this same flash drive in our 2020 Pacifica and always played any song I asked for and the drive has about 1200 songs on it and I never had any you-tube accounts. If anyone out there has a solution I'd appreciate it.

Heck, I can maybe get VR to even dial a phone number on my 19, so I just scan and push buttons. lol.

Yeah, the VR is useless for me. After the 3rd time of "I didn't get that" I usually go into my best USMC DI tirade and do it myself.

If you have the 8.4 screen the new trucks vr doesn't work like the older uas or uaq radios.for example you can't say change station to or any flash drive options. It basically just works carplay android auto functions my 23 was like this.my 24 has the 5.0 radio and the vr works like they always have.it doesn't have carplay but I don't think I'm going to update to the 8.4 because I like the older vr functions.thing is I put a carplay 8.4 in my 19 classic and since the vr didn't work like the factory 8.4 I assumed it was not compatible and returned it.but come to find out it worked as it was Supposed to just like the 8.4 in the 23.

2021 Classic: 8.4 Screen. Bad Voice Recog. Apple CarPlay & iPhone. Known good Apple-made cable, so stow the cable nonsense FCA. Spoke the commands to the phone with accurate results? Spoke to Siri on the Watch and it works? My problem was me: I'm too short and scooch the seat up. That puts the ceiling mic back too far. Speak to the truck mic, and all is well. Got VR issues? Check the truck mic placement and see if you need to talk to it directly, maybe.
