Hi all,

first of all I wanna say hello and introduce myself. My name is Joachim, I'm form Germany and I have Ram 1500 5.7 from 2015. It's a Canada import and I had a lot of work to set it to European standard. But that's all done now.

Currently I have the problem that the AWD doesn't work. I already changed the actuator of the transfer case and the control unit of the AWD. But without success. The LED's of the AWD buttons are out of function. So I need to check the wiring and for that I need a wiring diagram. Can anybody help? Unfortunately in Germany I can not get it.

It would be great if someone has an idea what I still can do or can provide the wiring diagram. Sorry for my "German" English.

BR, Joachim

Your English is great, I could go to the store up the road and hear folks less proficient than you that are native speakers.

This site will let you know which wire is which by function...

Also, I've never had this problem myself but I guess it's a known issue and worth checking on your end...

This is to troubleshoot/identify...

This is to repair...

Hey, thanks a lot for your quick response. Looks like it's exactly what I need. I will check the pins of the front axle actuator.
I will also check the pins of the control unit plugs. I think the problem is there, because there are no LED's shining or flashing at the button unit (hope you know what I mean). And there is an error message "No communication with control unit AWD". This appears in 3 systens, engine control unit, ABS and TCM. Seems like AWD control unit has no power supply.

Could you help again to find out which components are the correct for the AWD control unit plugs in the document "https://connectorrepairkit.mopar.com/". I'm completely lost ...

Sure, you'll want to search for:

This is for the connection at the switch in the cab of the truck which should be a green plug behind the radio/HVAC bezel (I don't think this will be the issue unless it's unplugged)...

and here is the connector under the truck shown in the videos...

Great, thanks again. Hard to find for me ...
What I still need is the two connectors for the TCM control unit in the passenger footwell, see picture please.

I think I found it: MODULE-DRIVE TRAIN CONTROL C1 and C2
Do you agree?
That looks right but you can confirm by looking at the wire colors on the website and verifying them on the connectors. How to read them (example):

YL/GY = yellow/gray
YL/BR = yellow/brown
YL/RD = yellow/red
BK = black
