I can't wait to start this, was supposed to start this weekend. But don't have all the pieces I need yet. It's smarter to dress it up first and then clean it, or clean it, dress it up, clean it. Lol. But thats just a pain, just clean what you're working on. Looks good! Can only get better no matter whatcha go with.

Thanks guys, gonna work on it some more today, since my truck is gray it won't be slapping you in the face but it's a subtle change, maybe later on get some airbrush work done or somethin, and I have some engine covers I'm about to order that I'm super excited about. But for the most part, I have wire loom on all the wires in black already, so I'm prolly just gonna leave that part alone. I probly wont open my hood if I go to any shows since it's nothin spectacular.

But I'll work on it some more today

Hey Kristin

Here's a couple tips I picked up. I have basically same engine compartment.

Take the rug off top of firewall directly under hood. Go to stealership and get 4 or 5 fasteners for the hood underneath insulation and plug the small holes with those Then put some back to black on it and smooth and satin look.

I taped off and sprayed the ugly white reservoirs for Brake fluid, windwasher stuff, radiator overflow, gloss black. Taped some in place and removed the easier stuff to spray them. TThen your sweet looking covers. I like what you've done so far ....... Sweet Truck it is definately Trophy material.

Here's pic of mine with the rug off and stuff sprayed and Brass covers. ....
