I have a 2012 Ram 1500 with quad headlights. I'd like to put a projector lens in with HID's for both the projector low beam and the high beam. I've been looking at Spyder's with LED halos and LED's My questions are: is Spyder a good selection and can I make the LED's Daytime Running Lights.

Here is a tip, buy some 100 normal looking quads off ebay, because they open much easier than the factories. Contact [email protected] and get a kit to install in your headlights. They will be 100% clearer and far better lighting than the cheapo ebays lights.

Can you add pictures of your set up at night? What is the sealant for? Do you have a write up?

And could I use these housings instead? https://www.protuninglab.com/hd-jh-dr13-p-c.html

I thought I put pictures at night in that thread. I would check the full thread. The sealant is for the holes you have to drill to get the HID wires through. If you dont go HID, there is no need to drill the housing (its the covers you drill, not the housing itself).

You did add pictures. My bad!

Is the light coverage really that much better than stock? Just have to convince myself to spend that much money.

I am happy with what I spent, and the light output of what I have. During the winter months I drive 95% when the sun is down. I will never own another vehicle without proper HIDs in projector housing (I would do a factory LEDs in LED designed housings).

It is a lot of money to spend... So you should be sure that is really what you are looking for.
