So I finally pulled the trigger.

Ordered the headers from Moe's, ARP Studs (140-1101) and Remflex Gaskets (6022) from Amazon.

I know I have broken studs, where they broke and how many is still unknown at this point but I figured I would start a write up on how to repair them.
I will more than likely be needing to weld a nut or 2 onto the broken studs, so I might as well document the process and share it here for another unlucky fellow that needs to do this stressful task.

I will update this thread as soon as they all arrive and I start the operation.
Pictures to follow.

NICE! I just ordered a set too and they are going to be here tomorrow. I know I have at least one broken bolt.

Good luck on your install!

I reached out to Matt at Moe's, he informed me that "ARH is currently running about 4 to 5 weeks build time on all of their headers." so depending when your order was placed and submitted to them you got some time to itch. lol Middle of May for me.

.....I know I have broken studs, where they broke and how many is still unknown at this point.....

Usually it is the ones that hold the heat shield.

With mine, I could pull the heat shield far away enough to get my finger under the heat shield and I could not feel any of the stud on either of the broken ones, so I knew that there was a stub sticking out of the head.

I got lucky there.

Best of luck on your repair/upgrade. May it go smoothly.

I'm crossing my fingers that mine broke this way. I'd rather use vice grips than a welder. But either way their coming out as soon as my headers arrive.

Best of luck on your repair/upgrade. May it go smoothly.

Thank you man, I'm probably gonna need it
