Finally ready to level my truck. Going with Bilstein 5100's in the front set to 2.1 and 285/65/20 BFG KO2's

Question is where are people buying their Bilstein's? Seems like a lot of places are sold out or have massive shipping delays. Anyone had any luck buying them recently?

Thanks

Ordered mine straight from Bilstein, got them within a week.

Could you send a link? All I see on Bilstein’s website is “Available from your local dealer” idk if I’m missing something

Pretty sure it’s part number 24-187367

I got mine from Summit Racing two years ago when I did mine. I did the adjustable 5100s set to 2.8 and the standard 5100s on the rear. Never an issue. I just went to a 4" lift last month and couldn't use the Bils with the lift kit. I had 305/55/20s when I first leveled it and got my 35s installed before I got the lift kit done. Still worked.

With the 305/55/20

5th gen bilsteins will net more height so you would subtract 1/2" to an 1" I would not recommend it as the 4th gen ones are only a few weeks out

Bilstein 5100's should be available in a few weeks and nobody will beat the forum member discount @Nick@GotExhaust will give you

Thanks for the response. I already reached out to him and was told they’ve been on national back order for months
That is true but mid to late may is the ETA for them. They’ve been gone for so long nobody has them anymore. Best bet is to wait it out. Nick is a wizard parts finder

As far as I can tell Bilstein has been barely keeping up with demand for a couple years now on every model they make shocks for, might be that they adopted a demand-based business model instead of warehousing stock. It's been like this since before 2020 so recent logistic challenges don't seem to be part of it.

Looks like those are almost 3 times the price of the 5100’s. I see the newer ones come with a new coil too but I can’t justify that price. Plus I don’t do any kind of crazy off roading, just looking to get rid of the factory rake

Billstein makes a 5110 and a 6112 the 6112’s come with coil springs but they are out til July. Believe me they are worth the price

Amazon shows to have stock.
Order them and you’ll get them when they are back in stock. I like to call it the covid special. Show inventory take orders and money. Then ship eventually. There have been a lot of folks fall victim to this money tie up game.

Maybe that happens with 5100s, but this has literally never happened to me on Amazon when fulfillment is through Amazon.

I did end up purchasing through Amazon and made sure it was fulfilled by Amazon directly. I figured I would have the most protection from them if something went wrong. Estimated arrival date May 3rd

Still waiting on my 6112s, order placed in January 2021. It appears that Bilstein puts all their focus on the OEM orders (TRX) vs aftermarket.

Interested in how this all turns out....specifically how all the front end component angles are impacted. I really want to level mine at the 2" spot, but don't want any adverse issues with ball joints and such.

Also....if you could throw a before/after pic in here, that would be awesome!
