Putco NITRO LUX PRO LED headlights discussion

Greetings all,

After struggling with HID install I stuck with an LED conversion. 2017 Ram Sport with projectors.

Putco Nitro Lux Pro have been amazing for the low beams. 9005 bulbs 6500k color. Great brightness , color and cutoff. Not quite as bright as HIDs but way brighter than stock halogens. Best part is that the beam patterns are adjustable by rotating the clock collars using the provided Allen wrench until they go in vertically into the headlight housing.

I just bought Nitro Lux for my fogs, will be installing them monday, These are 9006 bulbs. Reviews to follow.

Overall I am very happy with this brand as they are so much easier to install than the HIDs. They come with resistors that fit right into the entire housing and you’re done...truly plug and play, no issues or errors.

Pictures? I installed a DDM Tuning Plus Canbus HID kit in my lows, which I chose due to good reviews here and no need for relays and a bunch of extra wiring. So far, so good...but it’s nice to see what everyone else is running.

I tried diode dynamics SL1 LED's, they were bright and white but they had no distance. That was a couple years ago, I keep hoping the tech will get better and I can switch to LED at some point.

Here they are installed today. Going to check out the beam pattern later tonight & will report back.

Low beam pattern is decent. But man the fogs light it up nicely!

Just installed these last week. Like others said, nice and bright with a nice cutoff but no distance. I didn’t know to adjust them with the Allen key like you mentioned. What does that do exactly and what affect would it have? Is it worth it taking everything apart again to do it?
