figure i better post this here as you guys are owners and may have insight. I am looking at 2016 laramie power wagon and am close on pulling trigger. i was wondering if i can swap out the softer springs in the wagon for the stock springs from my old 2016 2500 i still have? i want the payload capabilities but all the goodies the wagon has plus the fact its a Power Wagon!

Absolutley. You will want to add a spacer probably, though.

You will wanna swap out the tires as well too.

Or you could put LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate airbags and Daystar cradles in it and not ruin the ride and off-road capability. Just an idea.

i dont rock crawl at all so i dont need all the offroad capability. id rather have a very capable off roader that can tow and carry vs having an amazing off roader with crazy flex.

In your case I'd definitely go with the softer springs for daily ride and add bags

Unless you tow all the time, having a soft front end and a firm rear suspension is going to suck. If you don’t care how your truck rides, then go for it.

I agree. I’d add bags or do like me when I tow...” normal 2500 but have added Thuren kit so no more reg 2500 suspension” I bolt up timbergeove stops. They are a little bumpy when towing but I don’t tow that much. I’d much rather have the softer flexible suspension vs payload.

Look at sumo springs, a bit cheaper and are bolt on so you can easily take them off....

I have the air bags and daystar cradles and they work great. When it is loaded up you can add pressure to the bags and go back to unloaded ride height. can even adjust for side to side differences

I have the same setup and agree they work great. And there really isnt any loss in the pw articulation.
