Really want to get my new 1500 Bighorn as soon as the 26s started hitting dealerships. However, decide to wait as I have heard that they are the best deals at the end of the year. However, the more I thought about the more I’m wanting to do a custom order to get everything I want.

Was curious if anybody had any insights into how to get the best deals on those or if because it’s not on the lot they are not going to give me any sort of discount even in December

Thanks for any help anyone can provide

I ordered a new 2019 in November 2018, and they sold it to me at near invoice. I also ordered a new 2024 in November 2023 and also got it for very near invoice. The sticker price went up around $1000 between November and when it was built in January, but the dealer honored my ordered price. I think a custom order is the only way you will be getting exactly what you want.

Also, be prepared to see things that are different from the online "build and price" at the dealership.

A dealer is better prepared to sell at/near Invoice on a special-order than on ordinary inventiory.
Why? Because SPecial-Order is a sale they would not ordinarily have “floor-planned” expense with their financial institution. It’s a sale they ordinarily would not have as much invested in. It’s “gravy”.

Just order what you want. It's well worth the time and I always got good deals when ordering my last 4 trucks.

If you qualify for the FCA lease program make sure to use it. There are very large savings buying them that way. I agree with the others, factory order exactly what you want as that will get you the best deal. Make sure the all in delivered price is locked in and in writing.

What exactly is the FCA lease program? For employees only?
