I found a truck in st louis that im interested in and have been talking to the interent sales manager. He originally told me a price that was for a missouri resident. i mentioned that i was from arkansas. Today i asked him about the 0% percent interest they had available. He said that because i wouldnt be titling in the midwest, i wouldnt be able to receive that. He also said that the incentives would be different and i was only eligible for the incentives in my area. Is this right? I read about people traveling to pick up trucks all the time. To u guys that have traveled to get a truck, did u just haggle to get a better price than local?

Incentives being regional is correct. You can certainly use the price that you received from the dealer in St. Louis to motivate the local dealers. I did something similar when I ordered mine last month. One of the local dealerships pretty much matched the best pricing I got from a dealer that targets internet sales.

something i defiantly will do, thing about that truck was that is exactly how i would have ordered and at a great price. It was also quad cab and for some reason there are not just a lot around here. May look into seeing if the local dealer can track one down and get to that same price i was originally quoted.

Incentives do vary from region to region and they depend on the buyers' ZIP; not where the dealer is located.
They vary, based upon supply and demand, to stimulate sales.
