Question on Mopar Off-road style running boards

I am considering a set of these for my 2020 Ram 1500 but have never seen a set in person. For those of you who have them, how to you like them overall? Are they difficult to keep clean? When driven in wet conditions, does gravel and road grime come up thru the slots on end up on top?

Also any other recommendations on a board that sits close to the rocker panels, looks beefy, and stays clean would be appreciated. My Ram will get driven on wet gravel roads often.

What do you mean by "stays clean"? Nothing stays clean when driving on gravel roads. :***:

I have Westin HDX on my Laramie. I like how they look. My only issue with them is there are a couple of areas that have started to develop a little bit of surface rust after owning them for a year. Here's a couple pics...

From what I can find, they run about 700, but i have yet to talk to the dealership about it.

The price looks to be down 15% on Mopar website. Shipping makes it very unattractive. I wonder if you can save shipping by going through the dealer.

I would think so. My dealer does not add shipping charges and always honors the 15% coupon you can print off from the mopar dashboard.
