2/4 is as low as you can safely go.
i have the rear dropped on a 305/45/22 srt replica. it rubs the front sway bar at full lock. also rubbed the upper control arms, took a grinder to shave some material off. all is good now.

I have the GF 2/3 kit on mine and love the stance it gives my 4x4, and as stated above I believer 305/45/22 is the biggest and I think ive seen the 40 series used many times as well.

2/4 is the lowest if you just want to throw a kit in it and be done. I'm probably the lowest 4wd on here at 4.5/6.5 and I've done a lot of specialty work to keep everything happy.

does it rub since the wheel is 10 inches wide or how wide the tire is ? and does it rub on the control arm when you turning or just rubs all the time before you trimmed it

Whats the widest i could go without trimming

9" wheel but pay attention to back spacing, you don't want anything more than a ~+20 offset/~4" backspacing. A zero offset will be your best bet if you're getting aftermarket 9" wheels.

Sounds like opting for 4x4 when you bought the truck wasn't necessary...

The problem is the SRT10s are a 10" wheel with a +25.4 offset, gives you a ~6" backspacing. You'd want at least a 1" spacer to get back to a zero offset and a 5" backspacing.

Correct, most do spacers as opposed to grinding

I just installed a new set of 20x9 +18mm offset wheels on my crew cab 4wd with 305/50/20 tires, and I don't have any rub at all. I am also running the Ground Force 2/3 drop.
