My wheel spacers came in. The stock laramie nuts can't fit to surcure the spacer to the hub. So I'm looking for 9/16 open lugs. But question is the spacer kit bolts are 1/2. Are these strong enough? The shop that installed my lift ordered these. Told him I'd put them on at home. And now I'm searching for lugs. But im wondering if it worth searching for lug nuts if the 1/2 bolts on the spacer that my rim will mount on will be effective enough. 35x12.5x20 tire. On stock laramie rim. Thanks!!!

The studs on the spacers need to be 9/16" as well. Going smaller is obviously weaker and not worth the risk.

What brand of spacers are they? Sound like cheap eBay ones to me that I'm sure aren't hub centric.... There's a reason that Motorsport Tech's BORA spacers are recommended by everyone. They're expensive but worth the money.

The guy who did my lift ordered them charged me 250$ for them and they don't work. Can I have a link to the bora ones. I dont know how wide I need to go. Right now my tires are rubbing my control arm busy a toothpick thickness. I want to order this asap

What tire setup are you running? On stock wheels I'm assuming?

Sounds to me like you just need some 10mm hub centric BORA spacers but I'll be able to confirm once you tell me your specs.

Here's the link to Motorsport Tech's website - We manufacture the best Wheel Spacers money can buy | Motorsport Tech. They custom make the spacers directly for your application. Talk to Lenny there and he'll make sure you get exactly what you need.

I have stock 2011 laramie rims, 35x12.5x20 cooper discoverers. The clearance is litterly hair width between my tire and upper control arm. I spoke with Motorsport today. They are on a 7 day back order. He told me to go with the 1 inch spacer? Cause I wanted enough clearance to drive with no worries but not stick up tries too far . What u think

1" spacers will have the tires sticking out past your flares. If that's the look you want to go for I'd say go for it. You'll also want to double check your stock wheels to make sure there's indents on the backside of the mounting surface between the bolt holes to allow for your stock studs to protrude into with the 1" spacers. Otherwise you'll need to cut down the stock studs.

Ya I am unsure if the rim has indents or not. The company told me though that I have to wait 7 to 9 days for the spacers cause they are making them to order?! So now after all the money I spent I have to stare at the truck in the driveway! Lol. The guy from moto told me he has the exact truck and told me to go with the 1 inch. I hope 1 inch is enough clearance for driving?!?!

Attached is a picture of my truck I can't drive! I also had installed upgraded control arms and recon clear lens and Amber led can lights. Tires are cooper 35x12.5x20. BILS set at 2.1. Once the truck is driveable I will open a thread with pictures. This is just a taste lol.

Yes Motorsport Tech makes the spacers to order. Sucks to wait but at least you know they'll be perfect for your truck. And 7-9 days isn't too bad... I had to wait almost 2 months for mine. Part of that was a shipping mistake on their part though... I even flew down to Reno (where they're located) and met up with them and they still didn't have mine ready.

1" spacers will definitely look good on your truck with the lift. You could even go to 1.5" spacers if you wanted a bit of a wider stance. That would guarantee not having to cut the studs. Check out xrsman's truck, he's running 1.5" BORA spacers on stock Laramie wheels.
