Quick tie rod question for my 06 1500

Ordered inner and outer tie rods from rockauto about a month ago, went by the shop that will be installing them and the guy looked at the parts and said that they wont fit because they are for a 2500. On the part boxes it said 2006 Dodge RAM 2500. Emailed rockauto and they said the parts are interchangable and that they will fit my truck. Is this right? Just making sure before I tell the shop guy he's wrong.

RockAuto is Probably right. Look it up again in their catalogue for your Truck on their website which is easy and then check applications for the Brand of part you selected and ordered and it will list all, or go on to order a set for yours and then a set for a 2500 and if the numbers are the same your good. i am not familiar with a 2500 set-up other than its SFA but if true then they must use the same steering rack as the 1500's.
