RA2 5.0 Radio / TEXT Messaging

Ever since I installed latest software version I've had some issues with text messaging ?

Issue is = every 3-5 times I drive the truck when my phone connects to the radio the text message icon is greyed out ? When I touch the icon it says the device is not compatible? Wtf?

If I DELETE the device from the radio and then repair and connect it and add it as my favorite then I get text messaging back ?

Is there something I can do to make it not drop the texting ?

My phone : Samsung Galaxy S - 5

I don't have messaging now, since I updated from my RA2, to my RA3 Hmmm I'll stay in touch if I figure anything out for you to try. I even verified the RA3 is current software and all...

Thank you sir ! This is still happening every few days , I'm still deleting and reconnecting .
It only takes 3 minutes but it's a.pain ....

I think the 5.0 have some problem with text messeging with the Samsung phones. My S2 had the same probleme. But everything works good with my nexus.

It's not and android thing since my friend have a S5 with the same android version as me and he got the same problem as my s2, and my nexus text are ok. On both radio ( 5.0 and 8.4 )

I just updated the software on my Samsung Galaxy S - 5 this morning , maybe that will help.

Good luck. I haven't had any such issues on the same uc5.0 FW as you using either my Nexus 5 or my LG G4 on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 (under settings/about phone)
