Rack and Pinion needs to be replaced on my 2019 Ram 1500

Is anyone having a problem where all the electrical components stop working because the modular on the rack and pinion stops working. I couldn’t start my truck and had it towed to the dealer and they are saying that they have to replace the whole rack and pinion in order to get the truck working again.

Hi there. 2025 and I just had a similar issue with my 19 ram 1500. I was told the same thing. Did this actually fix your issue?
