Well normally I can cruise down the road and have the radio between 10-13 with the windows down and enjoy music. Sometimes crank it to 20-22 on a really good song.

Come to this morning. Start my truck, radio takes a good 30 seconds to put an image on the screen. An additional 15 seconds for the music to start playing once the image has shown up. It's on 11 and sounds like someone is whispering in the back seat. Turn it to 20, sounds like it's at 8 and can have a normal conversation while it's half way up. That's not right at all. Turn it down to 8, can hear some really high notes on the song, that's it.

Is there a way for me to reset the radio and see if it goes back to normal? Or should I be calling the dealership?

Thanks

I assume you shut the truck off and restarted it since then? Did it make any difference at all? I know sometimes the radio takes a few seconds longer to load all the presets sometimes.

Ran my errands and it was still the same. The truck was turned off a few times. It would load as fast as before, but still very low sound.

I'd take it in if it's under warrantee. If not then I would reinstall the latest software and see what happens. I assume this happens on the radio, satellite, and iPod?

Happens on all 3. I'll call the dealership and let them know about the problem I suppose.

I called them today, and they were absolutely clueless. It has to be an update of some sort, but this is a big problem for me as the radio controls/uconnect/sound was a good sell point for me. I made an appointment for them to take a look still. Hopefully they can figure it out.

I know it seems weird but try pulling off the negative on the battery and leave it like that for a few minutes.
