Radio On At start up

I recently bought my first Ram express and wanted to know a little about the radio. When I start the truck, the radio is always on, even when I turn it off before turning the truck off. When I use my Bluetooth before turning the truck off it still starts up again with the radio stations on. Is this normal or has anyone had this problem ?

Yup normal. Does it on my 2015 SLT and I believe all models ! I hate that feature as I like the radio off most of the time. But may have to stay on because of Bluetooth ? I'll be following to see when the techie crew says

Well the newer versions that I have both, still do that. Start it up and the radio is on immediately

Just turn the volumn down when you shut the truck off, if it bothers you on start-up.The radio does a lot more then just being a radio in the newer vehicles,and I don't think you can program it to be totally off

I'm guessing you haven't experienced your local dealership yet? They aren't really knows for being competent.
