Not possible. All the 5.7 tooling was destroyed and assembly line converted to the Hurricane. No going back. I read it on the internet.

That's not accurate since they're moving 5.7 production back to Michigan, and it'll be offered in the Durango, and possibly the JGC, out to 2027.

I wouldn't trust "news" from a clickbait site like YT.

If the 5.7 Hemi is totally discontinued how come you can still order a Durango R/T with a Hemi?
I imagine they're using old stock, like Ford did with keeping the 3.7 V6 in Mustang up to 2017. They've got a warehouse full of engines awaiting vehicles. They'll keep putting it in Durango until they are all used up.

Just bought a 2025 Durango Brass Monkey Hammerhead Hellcat. Delivered to the dealership last week. I pick it up this coming Wednesday. The wife is livid, I bought it for her, I know, a lie, but at least I'm helping her pack her bags. Haha Not a 5.7 I know, but still a Hemi, with only 710 HP though.

They don't have enough 5.7's or 6.2HC's in a warehouse to fill orders for two more model years. If they did they'd be doing FIFO inventory control on replacement short/long blocks for warranty work. I have two friends that are CDJR tech's that are getting replacement blocks in with 2024 date codes. Which tells me the oldest stock they have was produced in 2024.

Troll post is troll. Brass Monkey and Hammerhead Hellcat are two different packages. So which is it?

That's funny as hell,i wouldn't trust C&D any farther then i could throw the whole lot of their biased writers :Big Laugh:
You didn't watch the video i see,as it's at the LA Auto show, and if they're reviewing it at one of the biggest new car auto shows in North America,i'm going to tell you C&D is out to lunch, which is where they're at the majority of time anyways.
Watch the video, and you'll probably learn something:waytogo::Big Laugh:
BTW that article doesn't say squat about them, other then it mentions the Hammerhead and the Brass monkey, nowhere does it mention them as a package,so if that's what you're basing your argument on,you got a whole lot to learn, lol
