Ripping people off is the American Way. I don't like it either but we can't pretend we didn't know it's the norm here.

I suspect you’re correct. I had a good laugh over his spare pocket-change in the ash-tray and the Starburst candies in the door-pocket I found. :D
I hope they left the shotgun holder in the vehicle.

I don’t know if there ever was a shotgun-rack….the center equipt was removed, leaving only the mounting plate: (My son thinks it should make a great mounting for a 12V Beer Cooler…. LOL)

Here’s the review I’ve left e-trailer …having installed an inexpensive generic “console” in this truck:

Hello, Amy!
Well… I guess the “standard” review I might give via the response-offered in your email would not actually provide much information about thie product…. So Here’s my “in depth” review:

I had purchased a Used Ram 1500 SSV (Special Service Vehicle…a sheriff’s truck) that had a police-equp’t mounting-plate instead of a front console.
That equip’t was removed leaving only the mounting plate…. Which gave me no place to put my coffee mug…but DID give me a place to FORGET it…and spill coffee all over the rear floorboards/carpet when accelerating.

So I ordered the “Rampage” console and it arrived quickly in good shape.…considering that it’s like many things aftermarket and cheaply upholstered…I didn’t give it much respect.

THAT has CHANGED. I LOVE IT.

Here’s a few details, however, about installing it.
For unknown reasons it has a “false floor” at its forward 1/3rd portion…making it “interesting” as to how to securely Mount It. I carefully measured where the sheriffs mounting plate had slots….marked the console bottom …and drilled hoes for 1/4” machine screws/bolts, washers and nuts….but had no way to access the interior to tighten the bolts …without removing the fwd cup holder and using a holesaw to cut access holes to reach the 1/4” bolt heads with a socket and extension.
(BTW, the cup holders are mounted using a “button-head” screw in the middle of the cup-bottom…. Creating a possible broken cup or bottle when it hits that screwhead. I replaced the screws with ordinary counter-sunk wood screws, which leaves a “smooth” bottom in the cup holders.)

The final result, is a Very Useful and moderately-attractvie center console which will prove Much More Useful for me than that original police-mounting-plate.

<edit: Also makes a good arm-rest for bucket seat which originally had none in order to accommodate armed LEO.>
Here’s before/after pics.
