I bought my 2018 new but this is the first time I’ve generated a post. I have a 1500 Laramie with a 5.7 hemi and an eight speed transmission. I’m trying to locate where the transmission filter is physically located. When I google it I get half a dozen different responses. Any help is greatly appreciated

It's intergrated into the transmission pan.To change it,you need to buy a new transmission pan.PPE makes a heavy duty aluminium pan that utlilzes a replaceble filter, which becomes economically feasble if you plan on keeping the truck long enough to require another transmission service.
ZF reconmends changing the fluid between 50,000 and 80,000 miles or every 8 years. If you tow lots or live in a hotter climate, you should be changing it closer to every 50,000 miles instead of the higher end of the scale.
