Ram 3500 short bed Hemi large gas tank

Hello everyone. New owner of a 2022 3500 short bed Hemi. Mileage is terrible of course. No information that I could find on gasoline extended range tanks. All polymer tanks state Dielsel Only.
Is this an EPA issue or will these tanks not work with gasoline? I aplogize if this has been asked, searched, did not find anything. Mark

I believe in Chico, there is a big company that makes fuel tanks

It may be called Transfer Flow
Their tanks are made of diamond plate, but there is a plastic inner liner

Titan is another fuel tank company

No extra capacity drop in replacement or aux tanks available for us Hemi owners. There are transfer tanks that are gasoline rated, Transfer flow has a couple for example. If you’re real ambitious, you can piece together your own aux tank setup. I found a few tanks rated for gasoline that are set up so you can build your own legal aux tank, have to buy a pump and components for the neck filler, but no one sells a “complete” kit. I just installed a Titan Sidekick in my truck and bought a Terapump, works good enough for now.
