Hard to believe this is still happing on newer vehicles. You would think it would have been resolved after all the years happening with these dash boards coming up. I had the same thing happen on my 2011 grand cherokee overland. It was one of the main reasons I got rid of it at the time. Complete eye sore to look at. Glad yours was taken care of.

My 2019 limited dash is the same. I had it replaced twice already, this time they told me it would be my expense. It is a shame Ram won't stand behind or fix this issue. Glad to hear they were able to help you get yours fixed. Unfortunately if it is like mine it will only last a year before it bubbles up again.

Glad they fixed it. Is this just a limited issue?? It seems that way anyway. I have a 2019 Laramie that is perfect, and we bought a 2020 1500 limited for my son a couple weeks ago and his has a little bubble starting up by the speaker in the dash. We purchased an extended warranty, so hopefully that will cover it when/if it gets bad enough.

Sorry to bust your bubble but your extended warranty will probably not cover it. Many here have complained that their extended warranty would not cover it when they asked. Some have had success getting it covered under the original warranty before it expired (myself being one) and others have had success via RamCares or a good will replacement through their dealer. So if your 2020 is already staring to bubble you might want to check with your service dept or RamCares before it gets worse.

It's only on models with the leather covered dash (Limited, Longhorn, Tungsten, and possibly TRX). Your Laramie does not have one of those. Be thankful it doesn't.

I am having the same issue on my 2019 2500 Limited. I had the dealer install Permaplate on my vehicle when I purchased it new including the interior product protectant on the leather. Did anyone have this product applied as well? If so, could it be the source of the problem or has anyone tried to contact Permaplate to see if the damage would be covered under their warranty?

UV Rays are just bad for Vehicles & People

Just find a good Dash Pad & cover your dash.
when you want people to look & comment about your fine leather dash, take the dash pad off.

There should be a class action lawsuit over this. I am having the same problem and they refuse to fix it without me paying full price.
Was going to trade the truck and .............. drum roll.............. it's value went down significantly because of their OWN CRAPPY ADHESIVE CHOICES. We are stuck with a Ram that's falling apart like a Chevy. Sickening. Maybe they won't be able to get away with this for too long.

2020 1500 Limited. Extended Warranty. 2 dealers say they won't cover the delamination of the dash and @RamCares appears to be monitored by AI/Robot - keeps sending me a MOPAR referral. I used to only buy Fords and then switched to RAM because it was a diesel. Now - why would I ever buy this POS again? I have been thru 2 driver visors, 1 passenger visor, 3 bad switches on the dash, a bed rail that just flew off, and now a bubbling leather dash. All in 5 years. Looks like a 20 year old truck.

Making an account at ramforum.com just to come in and slam the Ram brand won't endear you to most members of said Ram forum. It doesn't matter what brand your truck is. Extended warranties don't usually cover soft interior surfaces. I'm not defending Ram's and Stellantis' customer support. It's one of the worst I've experienced, and I don't blame you for being upset. But lots of people have been able to negotiate at least partial if not full replacement from Ram and/or their local dealerships. The key is to not come off like a hot head. If you remain calm and reasonable when dealing with them they will usually try to do what they can to accommodate people who have issues like these.
