Holy cow I was thinking about doin the same thing to mine but couldn't decide whether to paint it or try and get a vinyl decal and stick it. Might wait and see how urs turns out.

Take it to Kinkos, have them print it the size you want, cut it yourself [carefully].

Or you can email the emblem to a screen-printing shop, they'll uploaded it to their laser printer and have it cut it our perfectly for you.... the size you want.

Maybe even have various types of logos/stickers/emblems too....
