Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Anything I have tried to adhere to my dash has fallen off. Wondering how long the Pedal Commander I recently stuck on is going to last, I'm thinking it is not going to make it through the summer, lol...

I don't want to drill anything. I'm thinking the suction cup is my best bet. It might fall off here and there, but I guess I can just stick it back on.
bayou goat mount is the answer. no drilling. the mount screws right into existing dash screws...

Unfortunately I cannot use the top center of the bezel as my 6 switch AEV pod will be mounted there..

Tint and windshield shade help with the adhesive.

I alcohol cleaned location.
Let it evaporate .
Then stuck on for a day .
Let it really adhere.
With no drag on it .
Then used it.

Yeah, that's the spot I am aiming for. Not too fond of having the windshield shade, but do have the tint. I think I might just go with adhesion and if it goes bad I'm gluing a big ass magnet to the bottom of the mount and inside of the bezel!

Im not much for drilling holes, but that plate can easily be replaced and I definitely wouldn't want to use adhesion for that sPod.

Are you left handed? That's the only thing that would bother me, just because of my windshield light bar. When I need to turn it off, it needs to come off quickly, its my high beams out in the county roads. I would probably fumble and blind someone to death if I had 8 switches on my left hand side. Lol!

I don’t like it either but less visibility inside and heat protection.

Yeah, probably the best spot then. Do you even have much of a choice anyway, aren't you running out of dash space...lol!!

Yeah, I was wondering what was going on. Figured it was Jim's fault. No worries, I've hijacked a couple times, I had it coming to me, intentional or not....Hope I helped anyway!

Freakin Jim confusing things up again.

I have had this Scosche model mounted in the same place you are talking about for nearly 7 months now in FL and it is still solid. I have since purchased 2 more for other vehicles. You MUST FOLLOW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS to get them to stay. Clean the area with alcohol first, then apply adhesion promoter, allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes, then apply the adhesive base. Allow at least 12 hours before putting a device on it.

And here I am at nearly three years since installing the Scoche mount and it is still in place and solid holding my Samsung Galaxy S10+ every day. I don't believe the brand of mount really matters much, but it's more about using the cleaning process and making sure to use the adhesion promoter.
