I recently had my air intake temp sensor spike in voltage and set off an engine code.

Cleared that code 5 times in a row, then said screw it and took off the resistor.

I was using the correct resistor.

I tried it at the track and on the dyno and never saw any gains or losses with this mod.

I have one on my truck, nothing huge, that's for sure, but I think it's one of those things that possibly if you have it in combination with everything else (cai, exhaust, tuner, maybe new cam) then you may see a gain. It definitely does what it claims in that the computer thinks the air is colder by about 20 degrees, the only gains you may see are at WOT, which is a little hard to differentiate an incremental difference. Also don't forget to reset the pcm too.
