With the former CEO coming back to fix Ram issues, how will we actually know when major issues like short wiring harness connectivity issues have been addressed and fixed? A press release? Or word gets out on a youtube channel like TK'S Garage? Any of you insiders have experience with this , how it happens? Im asking because as soon as i know the problems are fixed i am ordering a Ram the very next day. But not until then.

They’ve never issued a press release about speculated major issues, so they’ll never do a press release on fixes. Best thing you can do is stop watching the clickbait speculative YouTube videos (especially TKs garage), otherwise you’ll never be ordering a ram.

TK's Garage does a lot of click bait titles I believe...He claims he has insider information, but I really do not think that upper management would speak about internal engineering issues.About harness being short a few SHAP line assembly employees during a live UAW 1422 video feed stated that some pieces of harness that route to the rear of the cab were a tight fit, which could lead to pin tension at a connector, and when brought to the attention of line supervisors they did nothing.I really have never heard of a line supervisor not bring this to the attention of line assembly engineer's.And stopping the assembly line to check this issue out...These harness are built in Mexico, which everyone knows might be brought back into the US do to a increase in tariff cost...

Thanks for your input. A friend in the Ram world had his wife's Wagoneer go into limp mode of completely shut down 14 times in 2 years due to body roll pulling on short wiring harness.

There's money, and for some, emotional highs in product bashing. Using an open-ended question is sometimes a tool to promote anxiety.

When are they going to fix "all" of the F-series problems?

When are they going to fix "all" of the Silverado problems?

When are they going to fix "all" of the Tundra problems?

When are some of you going to stop beating your wives or girl friends?

Regards,
Dusty

Still waiting on that Pinto recall ! Just try to find one you can live with the fix(s). Unless it’s going to hurt someone odds are they (Mfg) ain’t gonna fix it. In the case of the Pinto (Ford) they choose to pay wrongful death law suites than fix the problem. That was a $8.00 part. Geo had steering (tie rod ends) that broke. Vega’s had low oil pressure issues. Etc,etc.
