Ram questions

Hello Folks,

First, I need to apologize, I'm not a Ram guy yet. I am in the market for one and I have one I've looked at a few times. I do have some questions so I figured I'd go to the experts. The truck is a 2008 4x4 1500. The interior is immaculate. The body has a few blemishes nothing terrible. The engine sounds good, but I'm no mechanic. Its a one owner, but its at a car lot so the only history i have is from experion. The issue I have is it has 134000 miles on it. I've talked to guys who've said miles don't scare them but they do 90% of the work on their vehicles. I do some work but not a lot. And that number of miles does concern me. So should I pull the trigger? If I do what should I expect to have done to it in the first year. The price seems right where it should be according to kbb. Any and all help will be appreciated.

welcome to the forum!! i bought mine with 15X,*** miles. i have done all the normal maintenance on her and she runs like a champ. id do plugs, PCV valve, tranny service, rear diff, oil change, maybe some seafoam treatment to the engine, TB and gas tank

Sorry, no pics. The body is excellent. It's that bright silver metallic. It's the miles and the $ I'm going to have to spend after I buy it that concerns me. I mean that's around 30000 mi a year.

Welcome! I may have missed it, but how much are they asking for the truck?

They are asking 11900. As a starting point. I'm sure I can get them down from that. The numbers are good according to kbb. Than amt of miles concerns me. I wanna know what I'm going to end up putting into it in the next couple of years.
